DESCRIPTION:Nyasha will be chairing the session “Urban Innovation: Creating Cities for All” at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona\, representing CP Planning—where five local government\, urban development\, and smart city leaders from around the globe\, share strategies for equality\, providing insights on how cities can evolve to meet diverse needs. \nAs cities are at the forefront of global challenges—from climate change to rising inequalities\, housing unaffordability\, conflict\, and mass displacement—it’s crucial for urban leaders to come together at SCEWC24 to advance solutions in urban mobility\, housing\, equity\, and sustainability. \nIn this Solutions Talks session\, five experts will showcase innovative approaches that ensure equal access to opportunities and resources\, emphasizing the vital role of urban innovation in creating not only sustainable but also equitable cities. Following their presentations\, I’ll lead a panel discussion to delve into the key themes and insights drawn from their experiences. \nUrban Innovation Creating Cities for All \nTo create cities that truly cater to all residents\, urban environments must prioritize social justice\, equality\, and dignity.
